Operational terms

Operator, eligibility, and acceptance

  • These terms are effective June 20, 2026. Paid Glance is operated by Emanuele Ludovico Ungaro and can be contacted at emanueleungaro98@gmail.com.
  • You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement. By creating an account, funding a campaign, or using the Mac app, you accept these terms.
  • The service is provided outside the Mac App Store for Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 13 or later.

Service

  • The product is a macOS menu bar advertising marketplace. Viewers install the Mac app, optionally see text ads, and can earn a share of qualified ad revenue.
  • Advertisers submit text creatives, destination URLs, bids, budgets, language, and app-category targets. Country targeting is not available in this version.
  • The Mac app can show ads manually from the menu bar or automatically when the viewer has enabled auto-open.

Viewer earnings

  • A view qualifies only after the required visible duration, currently 10 seconds by default, and only if the session is valid under caps and fraud rules.
  • The default viewer share is 70 percent of the campaign charge for a qualified view, unless product configuration changes before the view occurs.
  • Balances can be pending, available, paid, reversed, or held for review. Displayed wallet amounts are ledger estimates until paid out.
  • Ads and earnings are not guaranteed. Availability depends on advertiser demand, matching, caps, fraud review, and platform operation.

Advertiser spend

  • Advertiser funds are credited through Stripe Checkout and recorded in the advertiser ledger after Stripe confirms payment.
  • Approved campaigns spend as qualified impressions or clicks are served. Paused, rejected, completed, or over-budget campaigns are not eligible for delivery.
  • Campaign budget is reserved from cleared advertiser credit before submission. Refunds, disputes, or chargebacks can pause campaigns and reduce available credit.
  • Text creatives must use an HTTPS destination URL and can be rejected for misleading, unsafe, illegal, or low-quality content.
  • Advertisers warrant that their identity, payer information, claims, destination, targeting, and products comply with applicable advertising and consumer law.

Payouts

  • Viewer payouts require Stripe Connect onboarding and any tax or compliance information Stripe requires.
  • Minimum payout amount, payout timing, review holds, and transfer availability can change as fraud, compliance, and payment processor constraints require.
  • Invalid traffic, duplicate accounts, automation, manipulation, reversed payments, or abuse can reduce, delay, cancel, or reverse earnings.
  • Viewers are responsible for taxes arising from their earnings. Stripe or the platform may request tax information or issue required reporting documents.

Privacy and targeting

  • Viewers do not manually set interests. Targeting is either anonymous or derived locally from coarse app categories with consent.
  • Advertisers do not receive viewer identities, device tokens, raw app names, bundle ids, files, prompts, screen contents, or per-person activity histories.
  • Aggregate campaign metrics may be shown to advertisers and admins for reporting, billing, moderation, and fraud prevention.
  • Each ad is identified as paid content. Its disclosure identifies the advertiser and explains whether broad or consented category matching was used.

Account rules

  • Each person should use one viewer account unless the platform explicitly supports additional accounts later.
  • Users must not automate ad viewing, spoof visibility, farm impressions, tamper with the Mac app, manipulate device identity, or create fake traffic.
  • Admins can suspend devices, reject creatives, hold payouts, reverse ledger entries, or close accounts to protect the marketplace.

Refunds, suspension, and disputes

  • Advertisers can request return of unused cleared credit by contacting the operator. Amounts already spent, processing costs, disputes, or legally required holds are not unused credit.
  • The platform can pause campaigns or accounts immediately for security, legal, payment, content, or fraud risk and will provide an explanation where reasonably possible.
  • These terms are governed by Italian law, without limiting mandatory consumer protections or rights that cannot legally be waived.

Not allowed

Automated views, fake devices, scripted clicks, or traffic farming.
Creatives that are misleading, illegal, malware-related, hateful, adult, or unsafe.
Attempts to infer, sell, or expose viewer identity from aggregate campaign data.
